GOD of HOPE All of us are affected by HIV/AIDS. At this time of Advent Hope, As we prepare for the coming of your son into this world We give thanks for the signs of hope. For growing understanding For medical advances For changing attitudes and behaviour For greater awareness and concern in your church. God of Unity Bind us together with strong ties of love That this church community may be a place where All can find acceptance, May it be a place of welcome for all affected by HIV/AIDS. May it be a place where care is given and received, especially for affected children and youth. Where stories are told and heard, Where fear is overcome by love, Where you are to be found. Amen

(PWRDF) is the Canadian Anglican agency for development, relief, refugees, and
justice. With the support of Anglican parishes across Canada, PWRDF makes
financial and human resources available to support our partners' initiatives and

FUNDINGThe faithful generosity of the Anglican constituency provides PWRDF with a platform to continue its international development ministry. The funding comes from responses to appeals, individual or one-time donations and bequests. Some of PWRDF's programs are generously supported by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Financial development is within each of us –– from the 25˘ tithing of allowances, to benefactors recognizing the impact of a legacy. Each of us, through words and actions, is a key participant in PWRDF's ministry. PWRDF's commitment to Canadian Anglicans is to share the valued results of this ministry and express gratitude for their actions as PWRDF ambassadors. Through prayers, actions and gifts, we can make a difference! Find inspiring PWRDF stories here.
