About Amazing Grace - The Story Lynne Samways Hiltz, wife of Primate Fred Hiltz, reads the story behind the hymn, "Amazing Grace." You can watch the whole story at once, or in separate chapters. These sunny summer scenes were filmed along Lake Ontario, at the Scarborough Bluffs.
Mrs. Samways Hiltz also sang the hymn a cappella.

t is Cold. It is very, very cold. We are in Christ Church. Bloomfield and It IS COLD! Our small congregation is huddled in a small group, little puffs of vapour define every breath and we are discussing what to do next.Go home?
No, we must stay and sing Amazing Grace today.
And we do!!! With Maxine at the organ, we gather at the front of the church, sing Amazing Grace and worship God in Morning Prayer. Standing for the entire time because it is too cold to sit down, we share a most wonderful and unique spiritual experience.
Our Lord is using a broken furnace to give us a blessing and an unique bonding of fellowship with Him and each other.
Rev Bob shares an inspiring message and we close the service with the hymn It Is No Secret what God can do, and we do believe it. It is truly Amazing!
